Kansas City vs. Buffalo.
After the Conrail split, lots of strange things started happening in Buffalo, NY. KCS and NS power started to show up at the South Buffalo Railway. For a while the SB was classifying trains for the NS coming up the Old Conrail Buffalo Line beacuse the NS did not have enough room to classify their own trains. This really was a nightmare! View is from Station D Tower. Still, I was always amazed of how busy and how many cars a small railroad like the SB handled. Not sure of the date but compared to things now, I'm sure it was the "good old days"..
